How did you get started in motorsport? Used to watch motorsport as a child on TV, went to see some race meetings at Silverstone. Started with the medical team at Rockingham, when the place opened, work as part of an ambulance crew, ( spent 3 months in 2002 on a daily secondment from my normal job). Went onto the Safety team trucks in September 2003, became Safety One Paramedic in August 2005. I’ve also been lucky enough to have been part of  the FIA extraction teams at WTCC, BGP in 2006. I had always wanted to race, but it had to have a V8 engine. Speaking to Rob towards the end of last year, I started to see that racing in the series was now possible, so I went and did Silverstone’s week long Intensive ARDs course, in October 2007, et voila, National Race B licence,  I have raced in a couple of Formula Ford races at Silverstone and some 750MC Stock Hatch races at Lydden Hill

First thoughts leaving the pit lane for the first time in a stock car? –  Ask me that on the 15th at Brands Hatch
